Direct current (DC) is a type of electricity where the electric charge flows consistently in one direction, without changing polarity. In HVAC systems, DC is often used in components such as variable-speed motors and compressors, as it can provide more precise control and greater energy efficiency compared to alternating current (AC). DC technology in HVAC systems helps optimize performance and reduce energy consumption.
just left us a 5 star review
My unit for upstairs had a major leak in the evaporation coils. Jonathan and Matthew came over and spent an hour here investigating and giving me my options. I decided to replace the whole unit and they were here on a Saturday replacing the unit. The knowledge that Jonathan possessed was second to none. The experience was excellent I will be using them again and I highly recommend them.
Jonathon, as always, provided great service! He is very efficient and honest. Thanks Jonathon, Charles
Paradise Heating and Air was great to work with—professional, on time, and very thorough. They communicated clearly throughout the entire process and were upfront about pricing and exactly what they discovered was wrong. I’m very pleased with their service and will definitely use them again. Being on time was a huge plus as well!
Jonathan was very professional and knowledgeable, with a great personality. I will be doing business in the future with his company. I immediately signed up with the company’s annual service plan.
He was on time and got the insulation job done quickly. I had contracted with another company who no-showed twice, so being able to call Paradise and get it done within a short time was great.
If you are having any HVAC issues please do not hesitate to call Paradise Heating and Air. Mr. Jonathan and his team were quick and provided answers to all my questions. I appreciate how quick they came out and fixed my issue being that we have had some extremely hot temperatures lately. I look forward to working with them in the future. I will be recommending them to anyone who has an issue. Thanks again to Paradise Heating and Air.
Replaced a furnace vent pipe and roof cap, Jonathan and Matt were competent technicians and explained everything to me clearly and the quote and the final price were the same. comparing quotes, they were very competitive and provided a high degree of professionalism on the job. Thank you very much.!
On time. Responsive. Seemed confident with expertise. Explained issues well. Serviced and repaired older ac system and did not try to sell me a new one. Kept everyone cool for Mothers Day.
Always on time, easy to communicate, finest quality of workmanship and character, affordable pricing. Highly recommended.
Paradise has become our go-to HVAC company. We have used them for several smaller repairs and they always provides a reasonable price and didn’t try to upsell replacing our 30 year old unit before we were ready. Then, when we were finally ready to replace our unit we got quotes from Paradise and several other companies. Paradise was by far the best value not only in terms of price but also unit brand and warranty. We even ran all of the quotes through AI and his came in 1st in terms of value, price and ROI! Great company overall - can always trust them to provide great, high quality work and reasonable prices.
Wonderful
I was fortunately able to get an appointment for the next day. Jonathan & Austin were prompt and kept me advised of their arrival. They quickly found the problem with my "heat" and were able to fix it without problems. They were very friendly and professional, and I felt that their pricing was fair and reasonable. Thanks again, Guys! UPDATE: I once again had a very good visit from Paradise Heating & Air - they are very prompt and reliable and do an efficient job - thanks once again! I definitely recommend these nice guys!!!
Always knowledgeable, respectful, and right on time!
Jonathan came by and discussed my problem with me. He was professional and gave me helpful suggestions. He did not even charge me for his time. It was a pleasure to work with them, please give the company a try.
Johnathan and Matt very knowledgeable and professional. Addressed my problem and fixed at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
Great company to work with AGAIN! The minor issues found were carefully explained and resolved. We setup a biannual service plan to keep this 20 yr old house in tip top shape. This is the company you need to handle your HVAC needs.
Most honest, knowledgeable and affordable HAVC company I've ever dealt with.
Very prompt, respectful, thorough, and didn’t break the bank.
Fast on time & courteous
My unit was not working and they were working with my relatives. I asked if they would take a look at mine and they did with no problem. They told me what the problem was an within 2 days they had my unit up and running!
Jonathan and his staff were very communicative! Would highly recommend.
Johnathan was great! We had a moisture problem in our kitchen cabinets that were on an interior wall. He spent a good amount of time figuring out what was going on, gave us a solution and answered all of our questions. A very good experience!
Explained options in detail in a way that I easily understood. No pressure to do unnecessary work. Very nice and professional team.
Very professional and knowledgeable. No need to look over their shoulder. Very satisfied with their work.
Excellent service, on a Sunday, highly recommend :)
Did a very thorough job of servicing my system. Will use again.
We had Jonathan out to service our unit today. The service was quick and efficient! Jonathan’s experience speaks for itself! We highly recommend Paradise Heating and Air for all your HVAC needs. Trevor and Edna Cumbee-Montieth Hoover, AL
Jonathan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Appreciated his candor and non-salesy guidance. We will be using them again.
Routine service plus setting changes plus education plus rec's for the future. Spent much more time than normal to satisfy my real needs.
Great service with very neat job. Highly recommend.
Tech was on time, very professional, courteous, knowledgeable addressed my concerns about the system. Will definitely be recommending Paradise Heating and Air.
Jonathon provides excellent service! Shows up on time, no mess, good at explaining the problem and does high quality work.
Jonathan is highly technical, knowledgable, and efficient. I wish I had known his company years ago. I highly recommend Paradise for all heating and air needs.
Being a first time customer I was extremely impressed with how punctual and professional the technicians are. I highly recommend Paradise Heating and Air
Jonathan was great to work with. He came within a couple of hours after I called at around 4pm. and had us operational around 12 the next day (because he didn’t have a motor for my condensor and had to get one the next day). Will definitely use him again.
I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!
Jonathan and his crew are always quick to respond and on time. They always help me to understand what is going on with our AC and heating units. I get a concise explanation of what needs to be done. I have always gotten an honest answer about my current units and I have never gotten any pressure to replace the equipment that did not need replacing. It feels great to be able to trust the information you get from the people looking after your HVAC equipment, and that is what we get from Paradise. T. Marvin
Paradise was very responsive and was able to come same day. Very professional, nice and honest - would recommend to anyone!
Professional, on time, fair prices, great job!

I recently had this company come out to my home because my unit wasn’t working, they had someone out the same day. Jonathan was extremely professional and knowledgeable, definitely recommend this company!!
Great service, price, and quality workmanship! Highly recommend! I will use them again.
Jonathon and Christian did an excellent job! We would recommend them highly!
I honestly cannot tell you just how highly I recommend these folks. Five stars are not enough! They are friendly, professional, very competitively priced and a real pleasure to work with. I've had them out twice, once for a split unit in my sunroom and then today for my main unit and both times they did an exceptional job.
Honest and kind. Gave incredible price for work completed. Called and was able to come earlier than expected! Cannot recommend enough
Johnathan and his son came out quickly and repaired my air conditioner. He explained very clearly what the issue was and temporarily fixed my air while we waited on the warranty part from the manufacturer. Service and hospitality was excellent!
