Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) is a rating used to measure the energy efficiency of an air conditioning or heat pump system over an entire cooling season. It is calculated by dividing the total cooling output (in British Thermal Units, or BTUs) by the total energy consumed (in watt-hours) during that time. A higher SEER rating indicates a more energy-efficient system, with modern units typically ranging from 13 to over 20.

From the very cordial and helpful Paradise employee who answered our after-hours, weekend phone call to the technical service provided by Jonathan and Matthew on Monday - we couldn’t be more pleased. We were informed every step of the way via text of all pertinent information including: scheduled appointment time, tech arrival time with the id’s of technicians who would be performing the work. Jonathan and Matthew arrived five minutes earlier than the one hour scheduled window (no no-shows here), did what they had to do and didn’t use weaponry to determine labor costs.
