Ventilator
A ventilator is a device used in HVAC systems to improve indoor air quality by exchanging stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air. This process helps remove pollutants, odors, and moisture buildup. There are two main types: an energy recovery ventilator (ERV), which is ideal for warm and humid climates as it helps cool and dehumidify incoming air, and a heat recovery ventilator (HRV), which is better suited for colder climates because it transfers heat from outgoing air to the fresh incoming air, conserving energy and maintaining indoor comfort.
