A dual-fuel system is a type of HVAC setup that combines an electric heat pump and a gas furnace. The system is designed to switch between these two heating sources depending on the temperature and operating conditions. The heat pump is typically used when outdoor temperatures are mild because it is more energy-efficient, while the gas furnace takes over during very cold weather when it is more effective at delivering heat. This combination maximizes energy efficiency and ensures optimal comfort throughout the year.

I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!

I was extremely impressed with Paradise Air and am very glad I found them. I have a very old HVAC system they needed some ducts and a condensate pump replaced. They were extremely thorough and clearly explained everything they planned on doing. The price was excellent given how much work they had to do in the crawlspace and the extra time they spent with me advising me on how to get as much out of my old system as I could. One of our AC units decided to give up, or so we thought. We had several companies come out and give us a quote to replace our unit, all exceeding $13k. Paradise came out, and instead of just giving a price to replace it, they asked if they could tinker with the equipment. They had it fixed within 10 minutes!!! Paradise gave us a quote so we have an idea of the cost for when this ancient unit ACTUALLY dies, and it was $3k-$8k cheaper than our other quotes!!! His assessment was identical to another long-standing HVAC company. I have great confidence in Paradise HVAC company!!! The 1st company who quoted said I might need to change my whole furnace and hot water heater system to electric!!!. And also was gonna hire a chimney sweep (at my expense!) to assess my chimney!!! Jonathan of Paradise HVAC just climbed up on the roof three times (necessary) himself and said the chimney flue was in good shape. I trust Paradise completely, but I got the same diagnosis and a much lower estimate from another company. That’s the only reason I didn’t use paradise.
