ENERGY STAR®
ENERGY STAR® is a program established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) to promote energy efficiency. It certifies products, buildings, and systems that meet strict energy performance criteria, often exceeding government efficiency requirements. ENERGY STAR® certified products typically use at least 20 to 30 percent less energy than standard models, helping reduce energy costs for consumers and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
