GAMA
The Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) was a trade organization representing manufacturers of gas-powered appliances, including furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. It provided standards, certifications, and support to ensure the safety, efficiency, and quality of gas appliances. In 2008, GAMA merged with other organizations to form the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), which now serves a broader range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment manufacturers.
