Humidity refers to the amount of water vapor present in the air. It plays a big role in weather, comfort, and HVAC system performance. Higher humidity means more moisture in the air, while lower humidity means the air is drier. In HVAC systems, controlling humidity is important because it affects both how comfortable a space feels and how efficiently the system operates. For example, reducing indoor humidity in the summer can make the air feel cooler, even at a higher temperature, while maintaining proper humidity in the winter helps prevent overly dry air.

I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!

From the first phone call, I was impressed, I spoke to Jennifer and on a follow up call, I spoke to Gracie. Both are related to the owner Jonathan who came out today and gave me a breakdown and an idea of what is needed and proposed how to go about doing a mini split, which I’m excited to get done, so much so that I wanted to give a review, even before the work begins which I’m sure will be excellent. He recommended a good brand Mitsubishi and explained why he chooses them, giving a very detailed explanation. Paradise answered my call late at night and made me an appointment for first thing in the morning and even showed up early. They crawled under my rental house through the dirt and mud to inform me that my landlord had me living in a dangerous environment. He was upfront and honest about everything and let me know the steps I needed to do to get my family out of this situation. I was extremely impressed with Paradise Air and am very glad I found them. I have a very old HVAC system they needed some ducts and a condensate pump replaced. They were extremely thorough and clearly explained everything they planned on doing. The price was excellent given how much work they had to do in the crawlspace and the extra time they spent with me advising me on how to get as much out of my old system as I could. They weren’t there to try to sell me a new system. They were there to repair what I asked them to at a reasonable price and help me extend the life of my current system. I won’t even think of calling anyone else from now on.

We've been doing a complete renovation of our family home of 30 years to sell and retire. We also needed to make sure we had adequate insulation and have the ductwork inspected. I called Paradise Heating and Air, and found that this was a service they could provide. They were very responsive. I had an estimate within a few days and the job completed the following week. They fixed anything that could become a problem and blew in the amount of insulation to meet the current Hoover building code. Jonathan was so friendly, explained everything that was done and the cost was very reasonable. In fact he talked me out of insulating an area that wasn't really needed!!!
