BTU stands for British Thermal Unit, which is a standard unit of measurement used to quantify heat energy. Specifically, one BTU represents the amount of heat needed to increase (or decrease) the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit at standard pressure. The term is widely used in HVAC to measure the heating or cooling capacity of equipment. For instance, air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps are often rated by the number of BTUs they can transfer per hour.

From the very cordial and helpful Paradise employee who answered our after-hours, weekend phone call to the technical service provided by Jonathan and Matthew on Monday - we couldn’t be more pleased. We were informed every step of the way via text of all pertinent information including: scheduled appointment time, tech arrival time with the id’s of technicians who would be performing the work. Jonathan and Matthew arrived five minutes earlier than the one hour scheduled window (no no-shows here), did what they had to do and didn’t use weaponry to determine labor costs.
