Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) is a standardized measure of how efficiently a gas furnace or boiler converts fuel into usable heat over an entire heating season. The efficiency is expressed as a percentage, representing the amount of fuel energy that is actually converted into heat versus the portion that is lost during combustion or through the exhaust. For example, an AFUE rating of 90% means that 90% of the fuel is converted into heat for your home, while the remaining 10% is lost.

The very nice person that schedules their appointment REALLY did work me in earlier and called me from her car on her way home from work to do it. I couldn’t believe it- customer service in 2024!? Wow. And the owner who serviced my system answered every one of my questions, endured me standing over his shoulder including walking me through how condensation works 😬. Paradis Heating and Air is a great company to do business with for any HVAC or Insulation issues. We just bought our first house and are so nervous about trying to find someone honest to do repairs. We knew our house didn’t have much insulation, but didn’t realize that meant it was going to be very cold and drafty. Jonathan came out and spent at least an hour looking at our systems and explaining everything to us. He is very knowledgeable about how air moves through an house and said our heater was fine, it was the lack of insulation. They got us fixed up with new blown-in insulation and roof vents in less than a week, and the house was so much warmer and less drafty! Everyone that works there is very nice and they are really good about communicating when they’ll arrive and showing up on time. We’ve since used them again to fix an air conditioner issue and same great service. I 100% recommend this company and wouldn’t even consider using anyone else!

Our Condo AC unit was leaking through attic, made online request to Paradise Heating and Voila! within 5 minutes my request was answered and a service was scheduled. Mr. Jonathan and his assistant Mr. Matt showed up before their scheduled time and did an outstanding job. They both were very professional and kind. Mr. Jonathan is a true American technical craftsman, he was quick to identify the problem and fix it in no time. During this time, one of my neighboring Condo owner requested him to look at his AC unit as it wasn't cooling or working properly and Mr. Jonathan agreed to look at it and fixed it. The price was more than reasonable for me and Mr. Jonathan told my neighbor that he will waive the service fee because they were already there to fix mine which saved him money and made him very happy. I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!

I did call to talk with the person that booked the appointment with some questions about pricing and how they charge for the work they would be doing, and she answered all of my questions. Paradise heating and air came out to my place within 30 minutes from the time I called put in a water sensor for the airflow in the attic and replaced the Capacitor for upstairs AC unit, Johnathon was very professional and very honest at first he thought I needed freon for one of my units But after it working for a while, he saw that it didn’t need any he could’ve charged me and I would’ve never known but he didn’t he came in and told the freon levels were OK and just needed time to show the correct pressure level. Also their price were very reasonable. Don’t let the service fee scare you, you’re getting an honest company that will come out and tell you exactly what you need and how much it’s going to cost and if you decide to go with them, that service fee will be included with the work they do.
