Chiller
A chiller is a machine used in HVAC systems to cool liquids. It does this by removing heat from the liquid, either through a vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration cycle. The chilled liquid is then circulated through equipment, like air handlers or cooling coils, to lower temperatures in buildings or industrial processes. Essentially, a chiller works as the “heart” of the cooling system and helps maintain comfort or regulate machinery heat output.
