Dual Compressors

An HVAC system feature where two compressors are used in the outdoor unit. Typically, one compressor handles standard cooling demands, while the second compressor engages during higher cooling needs, such as on particularly hot days. This setup improves energy efficiency by using the smaller compressor for lighter loads and enhances performance during extreme conditions, while also contributing to quieter operation and increased system durability.

We've been doing a complete renovation of our family home of 30 years to sell and retire. We also needed to make sure we had adequate insulation and have the ductwork inspected. I called Paradise Heating and Air, and found that this was a service they could provide. They were very responsive. I had an estimate within a few days and the job completed the following week. They fixed anything that could become a problem and blew in the amount of insulation to meet the current Hoover building code. Jonathan was so friendly, explained everything that was done and the cost was very reasonable. In fact he talked me out of insulating an area that wasn't really needed!!! One of our AC units decided to give up, or so we thought. We had several companies come out and give us a quote to replace our unit, all exceeding $13k. Paradise came out, and instead of just giving a price to replace it, they asked if they could tinker with the equipment. They had it fixed within 10 minutes!!! Paradise gave us a quote so we have an idea of the cost for when this ancient unit ACTUALLY dies, and it was $3k-$8k cheaper than our other quotes!!! They crawled under my rental house through the dirt and mud to inform me that my landlord had me living in a dangerous environment.
