A heat load calculation is a method used to determine how much heating or cooling a space requires to maintain a desired indoor temperature. This process considers factors like the size of the space, the number of windows and insulation levels, the climate, and how the space is used. The result helps determine the appropriate size (or tonnage) of the HVAC system needed for optimal efficiency and comfort. Performing a heat load calculation ensures that the HVAC system is neither too large (causing inefficiency and higher costs) nor too small (leading to inadequate heating or cooling) for the space.

We've been doing a complete renovation of our family home of 30 years to sell and retire. We also needed to make sure we had adequate insulation and have the ductwork inspected. I called Paradise Heating and Air, and found that this was a service they could provide. They were very responsive. I had an estimate within a few days and the job completed the following week. They fixed anything that could become a problem and blew in the amount of insulation to meet the current Hoover building code. Jonathan was so friendly, explained everything that was done and the cost was very reasonable. In fact he talked me out of insulating an area that wasn't really needed!!! Paradise came out, and instead of just giving a price to replace it, they asked if they could tinker with the equipment. They had it fixed within 10 minutes!!!
