Self-contained system

A self-contained system is a type of HVAC unit where all the components—such as the compressor, condenser, and evaporator—are housed within a single casing or cabinet. These systems are fully enclosed, pre-assembled, and can be moved or installed without the need to disconnect refrigerant lines. This design is commonly referred to as a package unit and is popular in residential and commercial applications where space-saving and ease of installation are priorities.

Very HONEST! Very knowledgable, an expert. patient, very polite. I got 3 quotes on repairing two small open cracks in the furnace vent pipe. His assessment was identical to another long-standing HVAC company. I have great confidence in Paradise HVAC company!!! I got 3 different companies for quotes on repairing two small open cracks in the furnace vent pipe. The 1st company who quoted said I might need to change my whole furnace and hot water heater system to electric!!!. And also was gonna hire a chimney sweep (at my expense!) to assess my chimney!!! Jonathan of Paradise HVAC just climbed up on the roof three times (necessary) himself and said the chimney flue was in good shape. I trust Paradise completely, but I got the same diagnosis and a much lower estimate from another company. That’s the only reason I didn’t use paradise.

Paradise answered my call late at night and made me an appointment for first thing in the morning and even showed up early. One of our AC units decided to give up, or so we thought. We had several companies come out and give us a quote to replace our unit, all exceeding $13k. Paradise came out, and instead of just giving a price to replace it, they asked if they could tinker with the equipment. They had it fixed within 10 minutes!!! Both are related to the owner Jonathan who came out today and gave me a breakdown and an idea of what is needed and proposed how to go about doing a mini split, which I’m excited to get done, so much so that I wanted to give a review, even before the work begins which I’m sure will be excellent. He recommended a good brand Mitsubishi and explained why he chooses them, giving a very detailed explanation. We've been doing a complete renovation of our family home of 30 years to sell and retire. We also needed to make sure we had adequate insulation and have the ductwork inspected. I called Paradise Heating and Air, and found that this was a service they could provide. They were very responsive. I had an estimate within a few days and the job completed the following week. They fixed anything that could become a problem and blew in the amount of insulation to meet the current Hoover building code. Jonathan was so friendly, explained everything that was done and the cost was very reasonable. In fact he talked me out of insulating an area that wasn't really needed!!! I couldn't be happier with the service, and feel good that everything is secure and to code. I highly recommend Jonathan and Paradise Heating and Air!!
