A scroll compressor is a type of compressor often used in HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems. This compressor uses two spiral-shaped components, one stationary and one orbiting, to compress refrigerant gas. As the orbiting spiral moves, it traps and compresses the refrigerant in gradually smaller pockets, increasing its pressure. Scroll compressors are valued for their efficiency, reliability, and quiet operation compared to other compressor types. They play a crucial role in ensuring the HVAC system operates effectively by compressing the refrigerant needed for heat transfer.

Both are related to the owner Jonathan who came out today and gave me a breakdown and an idea of what is needed and proposed how to go about doing a mini split, which I’m excited to get done, so much so that I wanted to give a review, even before the work begins which I’m sure will be excellent.
