Capillary Tube System

A capillary tube system is a simple type of refrigerant control device used in HVAC systems, typically in small cooling appliances like window air conditioners or refrigerators. It consists of a long, thin tube with a very small internal diameter, through which the refrigerant flows. The tube’s narrowness and length create a resistance to the refrigerant flow, controlling the pressure difference between the high-pressure side (condenser) and the low-pressure side (evaporator) of the system. This pressure drop ensures that the refrigerant enters the evaporator at the proper rate and pressure for efficient cooling.

I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!

We've been doing a complete renovation of our family home of 30 years to sell and retire. We also needed to make sure we had adequate insulation and have the ductwork inspected. I called Paradise Heating and Air, and found that this was a service they could provide. They were very responsive. I had an estimate within a few days and the job completed the following week. They fixed anything that could become a problem and blew in the amount of insulation to meet the current Hoover building code. Jonathan was so friendly, explained everything that was done and the cost was very reasonable. In fact he talked me out of insulating an area that wasn't really needed!!!
