A type of heat exchanger used in HVAC systems, specifically as the evaporator coil in an air conditioning or heat pump system. It gets its name because the two slanted coil panels are positioned in a way that forms the shape of the letter “A.” These coils are typically found inside the indoor air handling unit or above the furnace in a central HVAC system. As refrigerant flows through the A-coil during cooling, it absorbs heat from the indoor air, which is blown across the coils by a fan. This process cools the air before it is circulated back into your home.

I called paradise the temperature was rising in our home on 105 degree day, called on a Saturday morning and was out that afternoon checking after working pretty late which is great and shows dedication. Fortunately there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning the culprit is being an old house with improper insulation and ventilation in the attic space. Jonathan was very helpful and professional. Always fast to respond and give advice on what to do to help when there is an issue that isn’t related to the HVAC having issues.

I highly recommend Paradise Heating and Air. I contacted them to give me an estimate on adding more insulation to my attic. They were super responsive. They came out, gave me an estimate that I felt was very reasonable. In a very short time I was on their schedule. They showed up at the time they told me they would and they did a great job!! Jonathon was fantastic! My upstairs unit stopped working, and since there’s no one living up there right now it wasn’t urgent. That being said, he was there within a couple of days. He was very professional and polite. He did a full assessment and gave me a VERY informative run down of the problems and my options. He could have very well told me that my unit was old and had to be replaced. And, that will be the case on day. But he told me what had failed and that he could fix those things. He’s not a fortune teller…so who knows how long this unit will last. All I know is that he had it back and running perfect quickly! And, it was a lot less than buying a new unit. He truly cares about the customer and their needs. I won’t hesitate to call him again!

Paradis Heating and Air is a great company to do business with for any HVAC or Insulation issues. We just bought our first house and are so nervous about trying to find someone honest to do repairs. We knew our house didn’t have much insulation, but didn’t realize that meant it was going to be very cold and drafty. Jonathan came out and spent at least an hour looking at our systems and explaining everything to us. He is very knowledgeable about how air moves through an house and said our heater was fine, it was the lack of insulation. They got us fixed up with new blown-in insulation and roof vents in less than a week, and the house was so much warmer and less drafty! Everyone that works there is very nice and they are really good about communicating when they’ll arrive and showing up on time. We’ve since used them again to fix an air conditioner issue and same great service. I 100% recommend this company and wouldn’t even consider using anyone else!

I had paradise come out to get me started with their paradise maintenance package, and had them take a look at my attic because we had concerns with our insulation not being adequate. They didn’t try to over sell work I didn’t need, and were honest with what exactly was needed to get us back on track. Techs Jonathan and Matthew came out for the initial inspection and service and came back to do the attic insulation. They were patient and knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions) and took their time. They found all the places that my system was leaking (out and in) air, fixed them, and then filled the attic. They kept the house clean and were respectful and had great attitudes the entire time. They have definitely earned my business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are AWESOME!

If only all of our consumer needs were met like the service provided by the team at Paradise Heating and Air. From the very cordial and helpful Paradise employee who answered our after-hours, weekend phone call to the technical service provided by Jonathan and Matthew on Monday - we couldn’t be more pleased. We were informed every step of the way via text of all pertinent information including: scheduled appointment time, tech arrival time with the id’s of technicians who would be performing the work. Jonathan and Matthew arrived five minutes earlier than the one hour scheduled window (no no-shows here), did what they had to do and didn’t use weaponry to determine labor costs. In a land where customers have seemingly been disregarded and led to die, the folks of Paradise have obviously seen themselves and decided to do things a different and better way.

Paradise did a fantastic job! I requested an appointment online, and I had an appointment scheduled for the next day in just a few minutes. I did call to talk with the person that booked the appointment with some questions about pricing and how they charge for the work they would be doing, and she answered all of my questions.
