Air Conditioner
An appliance within an HVAC system designed to regulate indoor air temperature, humidity, and quality. Specifically, an air conditioner works to cool your home by removing heat from the indoor air and transferring it outdoors. This is achieved through a refrigeration cycle that involves a refrigerant circulating between the evaporator coil (indoor unit) and the condenser coil (outdoor unit). As indoor air is pulled across the cold evaporator coil, heat is absorbed by the refrigerant, cooling the air before it is recirculated into your home. This process can also reduce humidity levels, creating a more comfortable indoor environment.
