Blower
A blower is a critical component in an HVAC system designed to move air throughout the system’s ductwork. It consists of a motor and fan assembly, which work together to push air across the heating or cooling elements and into your home’s living spaces. During cooling, the blower circulates air across the evaporator coil, where heat is absorbed, and during heating, it moves air across the heat exchanger to deliver warmed air. The blower ensures that treated air is evenly distributed to maintain consistent indoor temperatures and comfort in all parts of a building. It’s typically housed in the air handler or furnace.
