Evaporator Coil
The evaporator coil is a crucial component of an air conditioning or heat pump system that absorbs heat from the indoor air as part of the cooling process. It contains cold refrigerant, which pulls heat from the air blown over the coil. This cooled air is then circulated back into your home. The evaporator coil is typically located inside the air handler or mounted on top of the furnace in central HVAC systems.
